[ English ] What is KLUB, what does it offer?

KLUB is a site of Polish musicians living abroad. We welcome everyone who is actively involved in music as well as those who hold music diplommas, but are currently involved in other fields. For more information click on the "About" tab in the top navigator of this page.

[ English ] Is the KLUB only for musicians?

Active musicians, musicians with diplommas not actively involved in music, actors, music producers, concert organizers and sponsors can become Klub Members. Others can register as Site Members.

[ English ] What is the difference between Site Member and KLUB Member?

After you have registered you become a Site Member with limited privileges. After you have entered your name in the Musicians Directory you become a KLUB Member with full privileges to the site. For detail list of privileges read the next questions.

[ English ] Why is this site in English if this is a Polish musicians club?

Many Polish musicians collaborate with non-Polish groups. Some musicians of Polish descent don't speak the tongue of their parents. English is a fair choice in this situation.

[ English ] In what language should I post information on this site?

The navigation of this site is in English, but the choice of content belongs to you. You can use either English or Polish. As a rule of thumb if you want your posts to reach the larger audience English would be a preferred language. If you want just to chat on the Forum, post articles meant for Polish audience then Polish is the appropriate language. We want you to consider this site to be your place, so use the language you feel the most comfortable with.

[ English ] How can I promote my work on this site?

Start with Musicians Directory, let people know you. If you have a website add it to the Links. Add concerts and performances to the Events Calendar. Have friends post reviews about your performance in the Articles. Use Forum to advertise your music.

[ English ] What information should I enter into the Musicians Directory?

Enter as much as can benefit you. Briefly describe your achievements in the Notes field. If you have your website add the URL to the Contact field. If you prefer to keep your contact private enter your KLUB member name and leave other contact fields blank, then other members can only send you messages internally and your email will be protected.

[ English ] How about my privacy?

If you are an active musician you most likely advertise your name and make your contact publicly available. On this site the choice is yours, only information you decide to publicly show in the Musicians Directory will be available to the general public. No other information will ever be disclosed.

[ English ] Why do I receive "Privileges Error" when I click on some items on the menu, for example Add Event?

You can only use the functions as your membership entitles you to. Read the next questions to find out what kind of privileges are offered with the membership types.

[ English ] Why doesn't the article I have just posted appear on the site immediately?

Some articles have to be moderated for their content, meaning they have to be revised to ensure their compliance with the site Terms of Use policy. The process usually takes about 24 hours.

[ English ] I have added my name to the Musicians Directory and still cannot add event, why?

Your entry will have to be reviewed by the Administrator. The process usually takes about 24 hours. If you still cannot add events click on the Contact tab on the top of this page and report the problem.
